This year Nova Scotia is taking a restorative approach in support of athlete safety and wellbeing at the games. This initiative builds on Nova Scotia’s leadership in restorative justice and is being supported by an experienced design and facilitation team connected the Restorative Research, Innovation and Education Lab at Dalhousie University. The Restorative Team has been working with Mission Staff in advance of the games to craft the new Code of Conduct and to make plans to ensure all of team Nova Scotia to be safe and successful.

We are there to support you not just when things take a turn but to make sure they stay as positive as possible. We are happy to be helpful in ways that make the most sense for you and your team.
